What Friction Actually Looks Like  (It's Not Always Obvious)

Friction isn’t dramatic.
It’s subtle. It’s constant. It’s exhausting in a way that’s hard to explain.

It looks like:
  • Rewriting the same email three times
  • Saying yes… and immediately regretting it
  • Feeling “off” all day but powering through anyway
  • Replaying conversations like it’s your part-time job
  • Needing a full emotional debrief after a 20-minute meeting

And the one that, before having a coach, used to hit my soul hard:

Being completely exhausted… from a day that didn’t even look that intense on paper.

The Part No One Tells You

Most women try to solve this by:
  • Getting more organized
  • Improving their mindset
  • Being “more disciplined”
  • Adding another morning routine

Which makes sense.
But here’s the truth:
If your nervous system isn’t steady, none of those things will stick.

You can have the best strategy in the world…
and still default into overthinking, people-pleasing, or shutting down.
Not because you’re broken.
Because your system is doing exactly what it’s been trained to do.

Momentum Feels Different Than You May Think

I used to think it was my fault, not keeping up with ALL THE THINGS.

From slipping on my self-care, increased relationship ruptures, fitness failures, and toxic work drama I could write a hundred books on...

I always felt like I was juggling, with things I was carrying likely falling any minute.

I thought this is what my days had to be while "adulting".
I had no idea there was so much more to fully living. 

 
I even had years of being in counseling as well as being intensively trained to be one. I thought investing in learning about Reiki, meditation, and other spiritual or personal development modalities would be "the thing" to help me bring balance to it all. 

I benefited from those different healing and learning journeys. And so did those I served and supported along the way. 

But I also felt an intuitive nudge that I was missing something major that would sustainably MOVE ME, and those who hire me for support, FORWARD.

Then I received a type of professional help that made everything finally click for me...COACHING!

Here's what hiring my own coach and then working towards becoming a Board Certified Coach myself have taught me. 

Momentum isn’t hustle.
It’s not pressure.
It’s not doing more.

  • Letting things go (like actually letting them go)

And a completely different solution.
